50 films from 21 countries participate in the 2nd Film Olympiad Grand Prix.
The films are initially divided in 10 groups of 5 films each, seeded according to the Jury’s initial evaluation ratings.
32 of them qualified to the knock – out stage. With only 5 knock-out wins, a film, becomes the Film Olympiad Grand Prix Gold Medalist.
The Best Film Gold Medal was awarded to “A Man in Chain” from UK, which won in the final rated 92,4/100, against “Lahza – A Moment” from Lebanon, which was rated with 88,6/100.

a) Best three films from each group (30 films) b) Best rated 4th placed films (2 films)
Knock – out stage:
Films are seeded according to their group stage position and ratings to the knock – out bracket. There are 5 rounds (Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals) and in each round films are re-evaluated.
