The 12th Film Olympiad Grand Prix is on the way!

From November 26th to December 5th, 100 short films from a 45 countries, compete for the Best Film Gold Medal, which includes a cash prize, as well as for medals in 30 categories. The 12th Film Olympiad Grand Prix, provides the last qualifying spots for the Superfinal of the 2nd Film Olympiad on January 2025.

🎭A proof to the constantly rising level of the Film Olympiad, are the nominations in the 12th Film Olympiad Grand Prix of Lily Gladstone and Coleman Domingo, who were nominated earlier this year at the 2024 Oscars (Leading Actress & Leading Actor). The iconic Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon is also nominee, while highly acclaimed films such as “The Present” (Palestine), “Terra Matter” (Switzerland), AirHostess-737 (Greece) are also featured in this competition.

Country Participation: Among the 45 participating countries, films from a stunning 18 nations (Andorra, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cook Islands, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Palestine, Sao Tome & Principe, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Uruguay) make their debut at the Film Olympiad. This adds up to 105 countries who have participated with films in our competition festival!

30th November: Round of 16 Results & General categories Nominees
2nd December: Quarterfinals
5th December: Final Four, Live Screening & Audience Award
6th December: Medal Winners Announcement
