Film Olympiad Past Winners

Stats

UK is the only country to have won multiple Film Olympiad Grand Prix.

48 films have reached the Grand Prix podium of Best Film.

They come from 29 different countries and all continents.

4 are documentaries, 4 are animation, 2 are music/dance and 1 is experimental.

8 films have been directed by women (almost 20% against a 3% which is the Academy awards winners percentage).

13 are comedies, 11 are human right films, 7 are fantasy/thriller, and 17 are drama or under other genre.

13 are student films.

Film Olympiad is about equal chances of participation, and equal chances bring diversity.
